In an ever-expanding route network, Greece’s second largest carrier Aegean Airlines will start flying between Athens and London this summer. The flights will operate twice a day to and from London’s Stansted Airport using brand new Airbus A321 aircraft.
Stansted is London’s third largest airport and has direct rail links to Liverpool St Station in central London. This makes it as easy to get to as Heathrow and Gatwick but without the usual congestion and delays.
Other new Aegean services to commence this year include linking Larnaca, Cyprus with Heraklion, Crete and Rhodes.
