New air connection with Dubai to be established
Greece is seeking expanded air links with UAE as a necessary prerequisite for increasing high end incoming tourism. After a meeting in Dubai between Tourism Minister Aris Spiliotopoulos and Sheikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al - Maktoum, president of Dubai’s civil aviation authority and managing director of Emirates Airlines it was announced that the company is in the process of establishing a new 200-plane subsidiary that among others, it will connect Dubai Airport with two popular Greek holiday destinations, the islands of Rhodes and Crete.
