Relics of the ancient Colossus found in Rhodes.

Remainings of the ancient statue of the Colossus, probably belonging to the statue’s head, were discovered at the bottom of the harbor of Rhodes. According to today’s announcement the tremendous archaeological discovery is the result of extensive researches by a group of divers in the harbor. As it was expected, the announcement gathered high interest from all around the world. Many scientific expeditions are expected to arrive on the island today. On an other note, Bill Gates, the well known founder of Microsoft showed a particular interest for this discovery and offered to finance the proceedings of the research.
