The hotel business sector has turned into a 2-speed industry, since 58% of the companies recorded profit, while 42% has recorded loss. Interesting facts emerged after a study of the Rhodes Chamber, conducted by Professor Kevin Nield of Sheffield Hallam University. The survey revealed a love of Rhodes on the part of visitors to the island, with 75% rating the destination's ancient Greek attractions, culture and natural beauty highly.
