The wildfires, after a hard fight of 6 days, finally seem to be under control, after destroying some one of the most beautiful forests on the verdant island of Rhodes. The fire that was contained in rural areas, threatened a village on Friday and led to three hotel evacuations as a precaution because of the smoke.
